If you’ve never used Maestro in a shop before, here’s a guide to tell you what happens in three easy steps:


  • Insert your card into the terminal.
  • Check the amount is correct and enter your PIN on the keypad.1
  • Press ‘Enter’ ... and your goods are paid for.

That’s it. What could be simpler?

Tip: keep your receipt for your records. You will see the transaction detailed on your next bank statement.
